'Collaborative law' seeks to trade animosity for cooperation in divorce equation PDF Print E-mail

Harmonious divorce.

The term may seem like an oxymoron, but a group of local professionals is working to give the phrase substance. Through an emerging practice called collaborative law, members of the newly formed Mid-South Collaborative Divorce Alliance are committed to helping couples divorce with dignity.

"I do think there is a level of emotional maturity required," said alliance member Karen Hall of The Hall Law Firm in Cordova.
